Scene 1

Aftermath of the Night King’s attack on Eastwatch By The Sea. Tormund and Gendry are able flee the scene. Undead Viserion sets Crows and Undead afire. Lord Beric Dondarrion stays behind to fight the White Walkers (dies off-screen?), but not before killing the White Walker that killed Edd. Edd is stabbed to death by a White Walker. Tormund and Gendry ride for Winterfell, whilst we see a burning Castle Black in the background.

Scene 2

Daenerys, Jon, Tyrion, Davos, Jorah, Brienne, Podrick, The Hound, Missandei, Varys and Theon arrive in Winterfell. Davos remarks that it has gotten much colder and darker since he has left with Jon. Jon and Arya are first reunited. Daenerys meets Sansa Stark and Sansa asks whether she and Jon are in love now. Daenerys don’t give a proper response to that. Sansa doesn’t seem too pleased with Jon returning to Winterfell and Daenerys’s presence. Jon notices this and chats with her. She mentions Littlefinger’s death and how he has always betrayed them right under their nose. She says it is plain stupid to work together with Cersei Lannister. The Hound and Arya also have a conversation with each other. Arya tells the Hound she didn’t regret to leave him behind without having him killed off. The Hound answers that Arya should have had him killed off right there, especially with the things he has seen beyond the Wall.

Scene 3

Euron Greyjoy arrives back in King’s Landing with the Golden Company and meets up with Cersei Lannister and the commanders of the Golden Company in the Throne Room. Cersei thanks Euron for having the sellswords shipped to King’s Landing. Cersei orders the commander-in-chief to take Storm’s End and to have the army gathered in the fortress. Robert Baratheon once told her that the fortress has stood for many centuries and she’s sure that it will keep standing during the Long Night as well. Since there’s no Baratheon holding the castle any longer, it wouldn’t be too difficult to just take it themselves. They’ll need to protect themselves during the Great War. Later that night, Euron Greyjoy is about to have sex with Cersei Lannister. Euron jokes that she won’t miss her brother after she finds out what he can give her. Cersei’s face says enough. She isn’t too pleased with Euron in her bed. Possible nudity to be seen here. The following morning Euron leaves with his ship ‘The Silence’ to ferry the sellswords to Storm’s End to take the fortress. After he comes back, he tells Cersei he wants to be her king. Inside the Silence, Euron has a conversation with Yara Greyjoy about Queen Cersei. Yara point-blank tells him that she knows he isn’t interested in being Queen Cersei’s pet/husband at all. Euron laughs and tells her his good friends from Braavos will take care of that problem soon enough.

Scene 4

Daenerys, Jon, Sansa, Tyrion, Davos, Missandei, Sam, Varys, the Northern Lords and the Knights of the Vale gather in the Great Hall of Winterfell. Sweetrobin and Yohn Royce are also present in this scene. Sam reunites with Jon and the two share a hug. Jon tells Sam he’s glad to have him back. The Northern Lords aren’t too pleased to accept Daenerys as their Queen. Daenerys defends herself very well, but she doesn’t get the support of the North just yet. Lyanna Mormont tells Daenerys Targaryen that she will never call her ‘Your Grace’, because she only knows one King and that’s Jon Snow, the King in the North. Tyrion smiles and mentions that she’s a ferocious girl on which Jorah replies that Mormonts don’t stand back for anything. Jon tells them there’s no time to argue with each other and brings up that there hasn’t been word of the Lannister army yet. Sansa responds that she warned them not to trust Cersei Lannister. Tyrion mentions that they can trust his brother Jaime but Daenerys doesn’t seem to agree on this one. The group discusses how they will defend the North against the Night King’s army. Jon Snow tells Robin it’s wise to bring the Eyrie into the fold and to lure the Night King in there. Robin doesn’t really seem to care and accepts Jon’s proposal. After the meeting, Daenerys tells Jon that the Northerners really are stubborn and small-minded people.

Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 1 Leak (Script) – GOT S08E01 Leak

Scene 5

Theon Greyjoy visits the Godswood of Winterfell and thinks of his friend Robb and meets with Bran Stark. He immediately apologizes to Bran for everything he has done against House Stark, but Bran tells him there’s no need for that. He knows that Theon has redeemed himself by saving his sister Sansa. He has seen how much he has suffered at the hands of Ramsay Bolton. Theon asks him how he knows all of this but Bran doesn’t respond to that. Arya and Brienne are training and Jon is impressed by his sister’s fighting skills. Arya mentions that she has never forgotten to stick her enemies with the pointy end. He asks Arya why she didn’t join the meeting in the Great Hall of Winterfell. Arya answers that Sansa is way better in those things than she is.

Scene 6

In Volantis, Lady Melisandre enters the Red Temple. She’s again welcomed by Kinvara. Melisandre tells Kinvara that she’s played her part in the Great War to come. She has united ice and fire. She has served King Jon Snow, the prince who was promised and brought him back to life. Kinvara tells Melisandre that she’s served their God well on that part, but she also made a lot of mistakes where she needs to pay for. Kinvara tells Melisandre that their God demands one more sacrifice of Melisandre which requires her to return to the North. Melisandre answers that she isn’t allowed to enter the North. Kinvara smiles and answers Melisandre that she could benefit from her punishment then.

Scene 7

We see Jaime Lannister at an inn when he meets up with Bronn. Jaime’s surprised to see Bronn and asks him why he followed him. Bronn answers that there’s nothing left for him in that stinking city and he’s up for some adventure in the North. Jaime is glad to have Bronn by his side. Bronn asks Jaime why he has left the woman he loves the most, but Jaime doesn’t fully respond to his question. He then asks what he’s planning to do now he has left King’s Landing. Jaime tells Bronn he’s on his way to Riverrun to bring the garrisoned Lannister army back to the fold. Bronn asks him why he would give up the castle he has been occupying. Jaime answers what purpose that would have? What does he gain with that? For all he cares, Edmure can have Riverrun back.

Scene 8

Tormund and Gendry arrive in Winterfell. Jon Snow asks Sansa why Bran didn’t take the time to join the meeting in the Great Hall and didn’t even come to speak to him. Sansa tells Jon Bran has changed a lot and calls himself ‘the Three-Eyed Raven’ now. She tells him not to expect much of a conversation with him. Samwell comes in between and tells Jon there’s something he and Bran urgently needs to tell him. Bran first sees Jon in the Godswood when he’s looking into the past. Jon mentions that he has encountered a warg beyond the Wall. Sam responds that Bran is much more than a warg, he’s a greenseer. The two inform Jon Snow about his parentage, which Jon doesn’t seem to believe at first sight. Bran tells Jon he knows everything about him. He saw him beyond the Wall, surrounded by Free Folk. He saw him fighting at Hardhome against the Night King and he saw how he was stabbed to death by his own men. Jon can’t really believe he’s a Targaryen. Sam mentions that he’s the one with the right claim on the Iron Throne, not Daenerys Targaryen but Aegon Targaryen.

  • Factcheck

The last sentence in the leak calls John Snow Aegon Targaryen but Jon is Jaehaerys Targaryen. Ageon is Rhaegar son with Elia of Drone.

    • raskreia

I believe Rhaegar name his sons as Aegon

    • Ronnie1478

Sorry Factcheck but the articles flying around stating John is Jaehaerys using a picture are incorrect, The internet can be vast, but full of errors. It would be easy to go through a Targaryen Family tree and look for a male name that starts with the letter J. That would be foolish think that his name Jaehaerys.

      • Søvn W.

Rhaegar most likely wanted his third child to be a girl named Visenya. He believed in a prophecy (“the dragon must have three heads” as Daenerys hears him say in a vision) and named his first two kids after the conquerors of Westeros, Aegon and Rhaenys, so the third can be Visenya. But Jon is a boy.
So, some people believe Jon is Jaehaerys, and most likely that Ned just changed his name into something that starts with the same letter. By the way, Jaehaerys is the only Targaryen name starting with J, if you don’t count the female version, Jaehaena or Jaehaera. Personally, I believe that if Ned really did change the baby’s name, he chose Jon after Jon Arryn.
But maybe Jon was Jon originally. You see, Jon Connington was a close friend of Rhaegar, so even that would make some sense.
No matter the option, I think it’s pretty dumb to claim Jon’s real name is Aegon. Like, come on, who names two of their sons the same name? If D&D do that, I’ll be truly disappointed.

        • Ronnie1478

I don’t think it is dumb to claim Jon’s real name is Aegon. Nothing is set in stone that it is Jaehearys. Ned may have picked Jon because of Jon Arynn. We can all speculate what his name will really be. No idea is dumb ( if you read my initial post I never stated Jaehaerys was dumb) King Jaehaeyrs was actually a bad king, would you name your son after a bad king. But If what I have read is true is name is Aegon. But if that is a red herring in would settle for Aemon or Anerys.

          • Søvn W.

The second part of that sentence, which states “who names two of their sons the same name” is it. Because that would be kind of… not clever.
Also, Jaehaerys I. is described as wise and always choosing the least violent options.
And I’m not claiming Jaehaerys is Jon’s true name. I said “some people believe” and I meant it.

          • zyko

not that it matters now that we actually know that his real name is in fact Aegon… but it wouldn’t have been Rhaegar that named him. Lyanna named him. Rhaegar had already left for the fight and would die. she may have already even known by then that Rhaegar had been killed. Lyanna named him Aegon since it was obvious that was a name Rhaegar liked enough to have named his first son (whom Lyanna would also have known was now dead … according to the show, of course), makes perfect sense

          • Ronnie1478

They more than likely discussed it, we just never saw it in the flash back on the show. Not everything needs spelling out.

    • Jon M

His name is Aegon, the prince that was promised. There can be more than one character with the same name.

      • Søvn W.

“more than one character” lol man, would you name two of your sons the same name?

        • Hyvir Summers

My uncle has two sons named Michael…that’s what happens when you knock up two high school girls at the same time.

          • Søvn W.

And was he the one to give that name?

          • Hyvir Summers

No and Rhaegar wouldn’t have either. Lyanna named his second kid.

          • Søvn W.

a, don’t tell me Lyanna didn’t know he has one son named Aegon already
b, don’t tell me they didn’t plan how to name their child before Rhaegar left her
c, Jon was third, not second.

        • VegasKJBW

Ask George Foreman what his thoughts are on this subject….Better yet, ask any one of his five sons: George Jr., George III, George IV, George V, or George VI.

          • Søvn W.

Doesn’t really matter now, it’s canon for the show. Rhaegar, Jon, and book Aegon got, as characters, kinda butchered, all I can do is to get over it 😀
I can’t hate the show even if I wanted, it gave me so much (from friends to inspiration). I’m just slightly uncomfortable with the writing of S7.

          • VegasKJBW

IKR….But I just had to bring up the George thing, cuz its SO ridiculous lol.

          • Søvn W.

Right, that’s why it butchered the characters I named earlier 😀 If they (writers) gave him any other name, it would be much easier for book readers to accept. Even the damn Jaehaerys.

          • VegasKJBW

            Gods forbid……Jonaerys? 🙂

          • Søvn W.

If you mean the ship name for Jon (Jaehaerys) and Daenerys, I’m pretty sure it would be “Jaenerys”.
One more thing that butchers Jon, the whole relationship with D. And not because it’s kinda incestuous, I don’t give a smeg about that. It’s her what bothers me.

    • Saurav Raj Paudel

yep its true….after season 7 finale his name is aegon

    • AWS2

This is where keeping your head in the books while watching the show can cause confusion. Remember: the show is not the books. The books are not the show. They are two separate things. The show is BASED ON the books, but is doing its own thing. George RR Martin has stated this repeatedly.

In the show, we don’t know what Rhaegar’s other children’s names are. It’s never been stated in the show. So in the show’s canon, his first son could easily be named something different.

The Aegon character from the books that claims to be Rhaegar’s son is most likely a fake. The “mummer’s dragon” that Dany was warned about. The show leaving him out adds evidence to that. He obviously isn’t actually an important character to the big picture of the story, or the show would have had to keep him. If he were actually Rhaegar’s son, then he’d be pretty important. So he’s probably not.

Some people have theorized that if the Aegon in the books is really Rhaegar’s son, then perhaps the show has folded his purpose into Jon’s character. They’ve done “amalgam characters” in the past, where one character in the show serves the purposes of multiple characters from the book. If that’s the case, then they’ve simply given Jon the name of the character who’s purpose he’s serving. Which means they essentially erased book Aegon… which means Rhaegar’s first son was not even the same character in the show as he was in the books, let alone having the same name.

Please, book readers… try to remember that if the show does not include something from the books (like the volonquar prophecy, for instance)… then it doesn’t exist in the show’s canon. They’re separate. You can’t say that it happened in the show if it wasn’t in the show just because it happened in the books. Yara was named Asha in the books. Barristan is still alive in the books. Doran had more children in the books. Tons of things like this have changed from book to show, so assuming that we know Rhaegar’s first son was named Aegon in the show is fallacious. We don’t know that. And if it’s causing you confusion to assume that you do know that… then the answer is simple. Stop assuming that.

Sam does not know Jons name since the last we saw him Sam ignored Gilly when she started talking this seems fake

    • Pixidilious

Except Bran will tell him Jon’s real name in the last episode of season 7

      • Ankit

Jon’s real name gets revealed in 7th episode.

  • Rama

Omg wow omg omg this season will be a way better than the previous one I suppose

    • Carlos E. Jiménez-Cordero

      What? It’ll be crap…

  • Carlos E. Jiménez-Cordero

So I read this and I think its fake. These things don’t make sense to me: 1. I know this is GOT but Jon’s death is unfair for his character with all his character has gone through and he died omce I don’t think he’ll die again. 2. No way Cersei marries Euron, she would most likely kill him after he brings the GC. 3. This writer wannabe forgot to tell us how the NK died. 4. Bran is an ass now, he doesn’t look like a guy who would help anyone. He’d rather die emo in front of that tree…

    • MC1on1

Write your own story then.. this is a true story 😀

    • LEGOates

“[H]e’d rather die emo…” Ha, “emo” indeed, clever, very nicely put .

    • Christsaf

If you think this has a happy ending…. you havent been paying attention ……

  • Katil Tekir

whilst we see a burning Castle Black in the background.

Total bullshit. They were in Eastmarch not castle black ffs

  • Bandit Queen

Rubbish. Dany has always been destined to survive as will Bran, Sansa and Arya. Eveb if any of this is true, which I doubt it will be changed and a more positive ending will come. Jon Snow sacrifices himself and Bran is the Night King.

    • wastheman

Nah anyone can die lol. Even dany

  • wastheman

I think you delusional idiots are forgetting that this show will not have a good ending. I’m a huge got fan and even I can see that they are rushing the absolute shit out of this show. You can see that the writing for Season 7 is weak af so you can expect that season 8 will have some terrible ass writing. Also these scripts are probably missing some pieces.

    • jordanjanellejoy

This. I remember thinking what utter bullshit the leaked scripts for season 7 were, until I realized most of the spoilers were true. I’m not saying this will happen, but I’m reserving judgment at this time.

  • Rustihopper

The scripts do not contain the death of the night king and how will he die is not mentioned. Clearly these are fake scripts made by fans

  • Javier Alan

Jon has no claim, Rhaegar was disinherited. Aerys(mad king) named viserys as his heir, so viserys line is the right claim(daenerys).

    • Vojtěch Zapalač

It didnt happen . Dont talk bullshits.

      • Liberal Eden

        Except it did happen.

    • Tudor Chirila

I think you’re somehow right, yet Rhaegar wasnt disinherited. He just died without being named a King, making Viserys the rightful one.
If Jon was Viserys’ kid or if Aerys died before Rhaegar (making Rhaegar the rightful king at the moment of his father’s death), Jon would have been the ruler of Westeros.

    • Farrah Anggita

yeah i agree with you, i think Dany is the right to claimed bcoz she is Mad King daughter but jon is only his grandchild.

      • jasonbasa

thats not how succession works in Westeros and most of historical Europe. Sons of First sons come before 2nd sons. In England, George comes before Harry in the line of succession. It doesn’t matter if Charles or William dies and never becomes king, William has already produced an heir.

      • S. Isaac

How? Robert ended the Targaryens rule over Westeros.

    • Anne

Rhaegar wasn’t disinherited. He was the successor to Aerys as the first born son. The line of succession would be Rhaegar, then Rhaegars children. If they are all dead then the sucession would pass to Viserys and his children. If not them, then Dany and her children. Since Jon is Rhaegars child, he would inherit the throne, not Dany.

      • Liberal Eden

Rhaegar was disinherited by Aerys. When Aerys named Viserys his heir, he skipped Rhaegar’s son Aegon, therefore his line lost the throne; and then Viserys named Daenerys his heir, and that’s why she is the rightful monarch and not Jon. This happened in the books of course, we can expect something different since D&D are paid to do fan-service and have already butt-fucked the timeline when they named Jon as Aegon.

        • Corinne Clark

Jon does as he’s the only MALE Targaryen alive.

          • Liberal Eden

Didn’t you read my comment? Rhaegar’s childs were sided-off by Aerys. Aerys named Viserys his heir, and then Viserys named Daenerys his heir. If Viserys had had childrens of his own, then his sons and daughters will be the heirs, and if those children had died then Daenerys will continue to be the heir, and only after Daenerys dies will Jon be the heir.

          • Corinne Clark

If you had read it correctly it said that there were claims that
Aerys II meant to disinherit Rhaegar and name his younger son, Prince Viserys, the new heir.
It was never made official I was only claimed.

          • Liberal Eden

If you care to tell the whole thing and not the part of it that fits your argument.
“He sent his pregnant queen, Rhaella, and his younger son and new heir, Viserys, away to Dragonstone, but Princess Elia was forced to remain in King’s Landing with Rhaegar’s children as a hostage against Dorne. (TWOIAF: The Fall of the Dragons: The End)”. And the fact that, as you said, there were rumors about Aerys wanting to disinherit Rhaegar only adds credibility to the idea that Rhaegar was in fact disowned by his after. Aerys madness and paranoia was known, and him and many people thought that Rhaegar intended to overthrow his father and seize the Throne, so atleast in his mind Aerys had reasons to do it. Not to mention that Aerys hated Rhaegar’s children because he had them with a dornish woman and not with a Targaryen, so that makes it even harder to believe that he would let his throne pass to a dornishman instead of a “trueborn” Targaryen.

          • Corinne Clark

IT WAS NEVER MADE OFFICIAL!!! Therefore cannot be upheld. It must be documented. Jons parents were married and his name is Aegon Targaryen. He is a true born Targaryen. I don’t need to write a bloody novel about it.

          • Liberal Eden

Lol. You do know that I’m quoting the World of Ice and Fire, right? TWOIAF is cannon, sweetie, it’s supposed to be a book that Maester Yandel wrote for Robert and Tommen Baratheon. Meaning that he documented how Aerys named Viserys his heir and sidelined Rhaegar’s line.

          • Corinne Clark

I have read it but you maybe right, I think I’m trying to find a way he can become king, not that he would want it anyway lol. I wasn’t a fan of his at the very start but he grew on me. Such a great book/TV series.

          • S. Isaac

It isn’t confirmed, you can theorise all you want but unless actual documentation shows up in the show or books, it never happened or doesn’t matter.

Either way Targaryens don’t have a line of succession anymore because Robert put his hammer through Rhaegars chest.

          • Liberal Eden

I’m theorizing shit. Did you failed to read my other comments? I’m quoting THE WORLD OF ICE AND FIRE. TWOIAF (acronym for The World of Ice and Fire) is cannon and it is an in-world book written by Maester Yandel for Robert.
It doesn’t matter if that fat drunk excuse of a father killed this or that person, the Iron Throne belongs to the Targaryen, killing Rhaegar only makes Robert a traitor and an usurper.

          • Sean A Buskey

You’re an idiot. Viserys was the heir when he went to dragonstone because Rhaegar was dead st that point. Argon would only be the heir if Rhaegar was king. Which he never got to be

          • Jair Tucker

He sent them away after rhaegar was killed in battle. That’s why viserys was his “new” heir

    • jasonbasa

Rhaegar wasn’t disinherited but Aerys did name Visery’s his heir over Aegon. This was in WOIAF.

      • Alexander Kirk

Cersi proved a personals claim means nothing, only power gets power

  • swapnil tayade

    Awesome so far 🙂

  • Chris

On second thoughts and reading stuff over, I think these are fake.

Theon leaves to save Yara in the final episode this season. He won’t be in Winterfell at the start of next season.

  • MC1on1

Great story! I read all the scripts for Season 8. And it is amazing! I really believe it is a true script. Finally I am free and I don’t have to think about GOT anymore. Thank you hackers!

    • Pixidilious

hmmmm… I also read all of the season 8 scripts and one tiny (massive) detail seems to be missing. They just skip over the part of who kills the Night King? Episode 1 seems pretty legit, but not so sure of the rest of them

    • Román Manchego

“Hackers”? Do you really think hackers published this?
This is about the third version of the season 8 I’ve seen, and curiously all three were published in the week when HBO has been hacked. These leaks are nothing more than an attempt to confuse people by taking advantage of this hack to give more credence to the shit they write and publish. Same thing in the season 6. They said that Tommen and Cersei would die and Margaery would sit on the Iron Throne carrying the son of Tommen in her belly.
Only this one has so many inconsistencies that I wonder how anyone can think it’s true…

  • G-Aaron

This is actually so accurate..i can see it going down this way

  • Taw Moto

I hope that it’s fake but there are some things suggesting it’s true, for example how did this author know that Euron went to buy the Golden Company? Nowhere is written this, not even on reddit season 7 spoilers. Also these spoilers continue perfectly where season 7 finished, not a single mistake.

    • munchy_cool

Euron going to bring the Golden Company to KL was leaked before these scripts were.

      • Iheb Mbk

Cersei tell Jamie in the finale that Euron is bringing the Golden Company to King’s Landing, and that they even have elephants. This leak for Season 8, episode 6, mentions the Golden Company commanders riding elephants.

How would the person writing this know about the elephants ? that part wasn’t included in the season 7 leaks. How could you explain that ?
This leak seems real and I think it’s not fake :/

Cersei tell Jamie in the finale that Euron is bringing the Golden Company to King’s Landing, and that they even have elephants. This leak for Season 8, episode 6, mentions the Golden Company commanders riding elephants.

How would the person writing this know about the elephants ? that part wasn’t included in the season 7 leaks. How could you explain that ?

It is fake since we know theon went to rescue yara from euron and how did he went to north with jon and dany. We also didn’t saw gendry on east watch .

  • Murtaza Haider

    Just watched s07 finale
We saw tht theon goes to save her sister
So him being at winterfell having conversation with bran is very unlikely

  • Agha Hussain

Absolute fucking cancer but meh make it exciting at least and put it to rest once and for all.

  • 3 x la

So is totally fake indeed. In scene 2 it says that Theon came to winterfell but in the last episode of season 7 we saw that theon is going to rescue Yara.

I feel This story approximately 60% Accurate and seems to be incomplete also no mentions of past scenes

Burning castel black is not possible with blue flame firing dragon

  • Tatennant

These don’t seem like leaks so much as educated guesses.

  • BeaveVillage

Definitely not fake. Everything lines up with the episode that aired only this last Sunday. Everything. Except for Theon, I imagined he was heading to rescue Yara, not go to Winterfell.

The Melisandre scene is rubbish. She already told Varys that she has to return to westeros again, and must die in “this strange country, as must he”, but here she says her part is all done and when told she must return protests that she isn’t allowed back?!?!

I have to say, if these are real (which I HIGHLY doubt because they are so poorly written and leave such huge plot gaps) then they better scratch this nonsense and re-write the season before they start shooting. They have done an amazing job the first 6 seasons (season 7 was good but let’s face it- they skimmed for budgets and it shows.) and to end this epic television series in such a lame fashion………….After spending so much money………..

Note: Not only is the Night King’s death not explained, but you have a huge gaping issue with the Winterfell Crypt’s secret not coming into play here. I can see condensing with a general outline because they have no “cannon” to go by, but that crypt has been alluded to the ENTIRE series, and to leave whatever is in there out of the series all together…….Epic fail.

i hope this is not the real script because is so bad.

FAKE… theon leaves for the iron islands at the last episode of season 7, so he cant be at winderfell and have a scene in godswood at ”episode 1” of this ”leak”… its only a fanfiction leak

    • AWS2

Yep. That was the part that confirmed for me that this is fake.

  • Jeanine Curtis

Sounds like pretty badly written fanfic bs to me.

  • Frankie Camardella

It is an epic fail from the start. The Night King attacks Eastwatch, not Castle Black. This is where Gendry, Tormund and Beric are. Ed is still at The Black. So it is impossible for Ed to have been killed in the attack or for Gendry and Tormund to right off to Winterfell with Castle Black burning in the background.
