1. Sacred Games

Sacred Games is a Netflix web series. This web series starring Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui was released on 6 July 2018. Kubra Sait plays the role of a eunuch in the film. The series is based on Vikram Chandra’s 2006 novel ‘Sacred Games’. The thriller series is directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane. Anurag, who is associated with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The Yon, on the other hand, Vikramaditya has directed the scenes involving Saif.    

Summary

Sartaj Singh is a police inspector who lives under the shadow of his dead father and seeks verification from the police force, yet he waits for corruption.   College Romance as the name suggests involves three colleges best friends- Karan, Trippy and Naira love lives and a very comedic take on that. At the start of the season, Trippy and Naira were single and then they got into relationships. There was one character which was really enjoyed the most by everyone was Bagga (Gagan Arora), who’s Delhi desi swag really was the high point during the whole series. The most famous line of Bagga throughout the whole series “Boom Boom”.  this is a very funny and romantic web series.  

3. Permanent Roommates

Permanent Roommates follows the story of commitment-wary Tanya, and Mikesh, her overeager long-distance boyfriend who returns to India from the United States of America to surprise Tanya and ask her to marry him. Acting upon the advice of her roommate and her own reluctance to get married to someone who barely knows her, Tanya refuses but gives in to Mikesh’s persistence. The two eventually strike a compromise, opting to move in together first. The subsequent events- a fallout, followed by conciliation, and Tanya’s premarital pregnancy end in the two of them planning their wedding, with unforeseen consequences.  

3. Panchayat

Panchayat is a comedy-drama, which captures the journey of an engineering graduate Abhishek, who for lack of a better job option joins as secretary of a panchayat office in a remote village of Uttar Pradesh. Stuck between crazy villagers and a difficult village lifestyle Abhishek starts his job with the sole motivation of getting out of there as soon as possible, for which he even prepares for CAT.

Rudra Srivastava, a senior inspector with Uttarakhand Police is lured into kidnapping a young girl at her request. The Plot Begins as a simple Plan to extort money in exchange for her release.when the chain of events goes wrong and a series of lies unfold, He realizes that he is now a part of a deadly conspiracy.

Three 20-year-olds – Rishabh, Puppy, and Chewang vow to make legends of themselves on their campus, after being humiliated for being total losers.

Set on a fictional, medieval-inspired landmass known as “the Continent”, The Witcher explores the legend of Geralt of Rivia and princess Ciri, who are linked by destiny to each other. The show initially follows the three main protagonists at different points of time, exploring formative events that shaped their characters, before eventually merging into a single timeline.

  It is a situational based show which will take you through all the things that happen in a typical hostel and college life. The protagonists, namely Jaat, Ankit, and Chirag become roommates in an interesting and unlikely way. They get through ragging, exams, exchange dating gyaan with their senior counterpart Jhantoo. All of them are on a search to get famous and make an image among their campus mates. However, in some instances, I felt like the show was stretched with the same old cliche story that we have already seen.

In the first seas FLAMES. took us back to the first rush of love, the charm of old songs, and the antics that only came alive at tuition classes. With its second season, the show focused on the problems that most of us experienced in our first relationship – while also battling teenage hormones and parents’ expectations. 8. Star Boyz   While heroes with underwhelming stories are as rare in Indian cinema as original tracks, Star Boyz was a hilarious ‘space comedy’ that gifted us exactly that. And through the space misadventures of its lead characters, the audience is treated to the kind of wacky comedy that works because of Kenny and Naveen’s chemistry and surprisingly clever writing.
