Samsung Galaxy S8 Restart Issue Bothering Users

Samsung is yet to recover from the red tint issue on Galaxy S8 and now users are reporting restart issues on the device. Some devices are restarting on their own, while being kept aside. Are you having Samsung Galaxy S8 restart issue, if so please read on as we may have a fix.

Multiple users on xda developers have reported the issue, some users say it’s because of biometrics; some say it’s because of microsd card. Removing the microsd card worked as a fix for one users, but not for others so we cannot confirm what the root cause is. Another user said he had the issue in safe mode as well, thereby implying that it wasn’t because of a rogue app installed by him. Samsung has asked him to send the Galaxy S8 back to the retailer and ask for a replacement.

Devices from most US carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon) are affected by the issue. Samsung has not yet acknowledged the issue but if you have the issue get a replacement right away.
