Apple is all set to release three new iPhone this holiday season, iPhone 7S, iPhone 7S Plus and the iPhone 8. Of these three the iPhone 8 is the most anticipated as it’s the tenth anniversary edition and Apple is expected to reveal a completely new design. A few days back few had iPhone 8 renders leak (1,2), and today we have real life pictures of iPhone 8 leaked over the internet.
Apple is expected to ditch the metal back in favor of a glass back to ensure the next generation iPhones have wireless charging. You can expect 2.5D glass on the front and back with a metal frame. Coming to the screen, we can expect the iPhone 8 to have new OLED display. The screen-to-body ratio is rumored to beat the 83 percent on the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+.
Coming to the fingerprint scanner, this is where things are not clear. Some reports suggest the fingerprint scanner to be on the front of the device beneath the front glass. Others suggest that Apple has not been able to perfect that and might shift the fingerprint scanner on the back, in which case the Apple logo will be the fingerprint scanner.
Dual camera on the back, with the noise canceling mic part of the camera bump was also confirmed in yesterday’s render leak. The sides and bottom carry the same design as the current generation iPhones, with the 3.5mm headphone port not making a comeback.
