How To : TWRP Recovery For Poco X3 NFC (Windows/Mac/Linux) [No Root]

Also, make sure you have enabled USB debugging and OEM unlock. Navigate to Settings > About Phone and tap on build number seven times. You will see a message saying “You are now a developer”. Next head back to Settings and you will see an option called Developer Options, In the Settings > Additional Settings menu. Just go to the developer option and enable USB debugging and OEM Unlock.

Make sure your Poco X3 NFC is charged 70-80 percent.

How to Install TWRP Recovery For Poco X3 NFC

Step 1 – Boot into fastboot mode

Turn off your Poco X3 NFC.  Press and hold Power + Volume Down for 7-10 seconds until you see the Mi bunny mascot.

You can also boot into fastboot mode while device is on.

  1. Connect Poco X3 NFC to the computer using a USB cable.
  2. Open command prompt (for Windows) or Terminal (for Mac and Linux).
  3. Navigate to the platform-tools folder.
  4. Now, let’s type the below commands.


adb devices

Mac or Linux

./adb devices
  • This will show a message saying ‘List of devices attached.
  • That means you have established a successful connection between your phone and the PC.
  • In case if this doesn’t happen, then install the Xiaomi Poco X3 USB drivers again.
  • If the problem persists, change your USB cable, or the USB port.
  • Let’s now boot your Poco X3 into Fastboot mode.
  • For that, type the below command and hit the enter key.


adb reboot bootloader

Mac or Linux

./adb reboot bootloader

Step 2 – Flash TWRP recovery

  1. Open command prompt (for Windows) or Terminal (for Mac and Linux).
  2. Navigate to the platform-tools folder and issue the below command.


fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

./fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

How to Boot Poco X3 NFC into TWRP recovery

  • Power off your Poco X3 NFC.
  • Press and hold the Volume up key + Power key altogether until the display lights up.
  • As soon as the TWRP logo appears, leave both the buttons.
  • Great! This is how you can reboot Poco X3 into TWRP recovery mode.
  • Unfortunately, if you are not able to boot the phone into recovery mode, use the TWRP Manager app from the Google Play store.
