How To Root Realme X7:
1. Install TWRP Custom Recovery.
2. Install Magisk Manager.
Follow all the steps carefully to avoid confusion.

Enable USB debugging & OEM unlock:
Next, please ensure you have enabled USB debugging and OEM unlock. To do so, Navigate to Settings -> About Phone -> Build Number on your Realme X7 and tap on build number seven times. Once you see a message saying “You are now a developer” go back to Settings and then go to the Additional Settings you will see an option called Developer Options. Open developer options and enable USB debugging and OEM Unlock.
Pre-Requisites (realme x7 root)
Before proceeding with how to root Realme X7 max, you need to make sure of these things.
- You need a PC/laptop.
- Make sure that your device is charged at least 60%.
- A USB Type-C cable to connect your phone to the PC.
- Now, download the ADB and Fastboot Tools and extract them.
- Download Realme USB Drivers and Realme Unlocking Tool.
- Download TWRP File for Realme X7.
- Download Magisk.zip For Rooting.
- Backup your Apps, Contacts & Messages, etc.

How To Install TWRP Recovery For Realme X7:
Step 1 – Boot into Fastboot Mode.
Turn off your Realme X7. Press and hold Power + Volume Down for 7-10 seconds until you see the realme logo.
You can also boot into fastboot mode while the device is on.
- Connect the device to the computer using a USB cable.
- Open command prompt (for Windows) or Terminal (for Mac and Linux).
- Navigate to the platform-tools folder.
- Now, let’s type the below commands.
Windows
adb devices
Mac or Linux
./adb devices
- This will show a message saying ‘List of devices attached.
- That means you have established a successful connection between your phone and the PC.
- In case if this doesn’t happen, then install the Realme USB drivers again.
- If the problem persists, change your USB cable, or the USB port.
- Now let’s boot your Realme x7 to the Fastboot Mode.
- For that, type the below command and hit the enter key.

./adb reboot bootloader
Step 2 – Flash TWRP recovery
- Open command prompt (for Windows) or Terminal (for Mac and Linux).
- Navigate to the platform-tools folder and issue the below command.

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Mac or Linux
./fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
How to Boot Realme X7 into TWRP recovery
- Power off your device.
- Press and hold the Volume up key + Power key altogether until the display lights up.
- As soon as the TWRP logo appears, leave both the buttons.
- Great! This is how you can reboot Realme X7 into TWRP recovery mode.
- Unfortunately, if you are not able to boot the phone into recovery mode, use the TWRP Manager app from the Google Play store.
How to root Realme x7 using Magisk:
- Download Magisk.zip from the link mentioned above.
- Power Off the device.
- Press the Volume Up + Power button to boot into the recovery mode.
- Click on the option, which says, “Install.”
- Locate the Magisk.zip file that was just downloaded.
- Now, Swipe to install. This will flash the file.
- Users can now reboot their device, and that’s it. You have successfully rooted your device.
How To Un-Root Realme x7:
- Open the Magisk Manager app from the app drawer.
- Select Un-install Option.
- Wait till it successfully uninstalls magisk from Boot.img, and auto flash a Clean Boot.img.
- Now reboot your device, and that’s it. You have successfully un-rooted your Realme x7.
