How to Enable Youtube Dark Theme On Your Desktop

Google just opened the preview of  “Material Design” for Youtube to the public. What this means is you can try out the new Youtube design without any hacks or messing around with the url. All you need to do is go to youtube.com/new and opt in. Opting out as easy turning the switch off. One of the features everyone has been looking forward is the dark theme. Here we will tell you how to enable Youtube dark theme.

Step 1 – Go to https://www.youtube.com/new and click on “Go to Youtube”

Step 2 – Click on the “Sign in” button on top right of the screen if you are not already signed in.

Step 3 – Once you are signed in you will see the first character of your user id inside a circle on top right of the screen. Click on that and below menu will appear.

Step 4 – Click on Dark Theme Off option you see. Below popup will come up.

Step 5 – Toggle the “Activate Dark Theme” button and you are done.
